One should surely utilize these days for skincare. It is the best time to pamper your skin. When you are at home you can follow proper skincare routine and try different home remedies. Here are some tips which can help you fight skin-related issues.
1. Skip the long, steamy showers and opt for smaller, cooler sprays. Long, hot showers peel the skin of its moisture and wash away shielding oils. So limit showers to 10 minutes and keep the water cool.
2. Scratch the small area on your arm or leg with your fingernail to check the dryness of your skin. Your skin is indeed dry if it leaves a white mark, and needs both exfoliation and moisture.
3. Take good care of your neck and chest as they are covered by very sensitive skin, making it a prime spot for important signs of aging such as dryness, sun spots, and wrinkles. 12. Plunk your rough, dry elbows into grapefruit halves. First, exfoliate your elbows in your bath or shower, then cut a grapefruit in half and rest one elbow on each half, letting them soak for 15 minutes. The acid in the grapefruit provides extra smoothing power.
13. Go for running, work out or anything that gets you sweating. Sweating is nature’s way of eliminating toxic chemicals that can build up under the skin. Plus, regular exercise maintains healthy circulation and blood flow throughout your body, including your skin.
